About Berenice Rosales-NadelClinical Director, LMHC-D

My mission is to help you live life purposefully.

My name is Berenice Rosales-Nadel. I am a licensed Mental Health Clinical Director and the Founder of You Can Do It, PLLC.

Every client is unique.

Often, symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, or burnout are just the tip of the iceberg; sooner or later, something must change.

In therapy with me, we will cater to your individual needs by collaborating on a customized personal treatment designed to meet your unique needs with the highest level of care.

This might sound intimidating; however, relief from symptoms comes with increased emotional bandwidth. Many clients use this to work therapeutically through the rest of their treatment plan.

About Me

Landing BioHere are my credentials.

I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the College of Staten Island and completed my clinical training at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center and New York Foundling.

I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach used to address generalized anxiety disorder, panic attacks/agoraphobia, specific phobias, social anxiety disorder, and trauma.

In addition, I use Behavioral Activation and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for chronic pain, sexuality, and anxiety.

My clients include adults and children.

Some of my adult specialties include helping adult clients with relationship issues, co-dependency, anxiety, depression, trauma, marital and couple counseling, and ADHD.

I also specialize in helping children deal with ADHD and gender and sexuality development. My work with children includes parent training and coaching, parent management, and family therapy.

In addition to my experience in individual therapy, I have an eight-year background in couples/marital counseling – providing support to couples who are having trouble communicating, constantly getting into conflicts without a solution, and dealing with infidelity or betrayal.

Couples who work with me will learn how to communicate without escalating into conflict, understand their partner’s needs, and gain a healthier relationship.
