Psychological Evaluations and Therapy in NYC

Providing therapy and structured evaluations with clarity, care, and clinical rigor.

In-Person in NYC and Virtually Throughout New York State

Psychological Evaluations, Delivered with Clarity and Care

Psychological evaluations are a distinct part of our practice and are approached with structure, transparency, and clinical rigor. These services are designed for individuals who need clear answers, formal documentation, or evaluation as part of a larger medical or educational process — not ongoing therapy.

At You Can Do It, PLLC, we provide comprehensive evaluations that are thoughtful, well-documented, and respectful of each individual’s circumstances. Our team is experienced in working within established requirements and timelines, and we focus on delivering evaluations that are both clinically sound and easy to understand.

We currently offer:

  • Autism Evaluations — in-person, appointment-based evaluations designed to provide diagnostic clarity and actionable feedback
  • ADHD Evaluations — structured evaluations for children, teens, and adults seeking clarity around attention, executive functioning, and related concerns
  • Bariatric Psychological Evaluations — evaluations for bariatric surgery, completed with efficiency and familiarity with program requirements
  • Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations — structured evaluations for select medical and elective procedures, including SCS and cosmetic surgery referrals

Each evaluation is conducted by a licensed mental health professional and includes clear next steps, feedback, and documentation when applicable.

Some clients come to YCDI for ongoing therapy, while others need a structured psychological evaluation for diagnostic clarity, documentation, or a larger medical or educational process.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come in feeling overwhelmed or stuck, while others are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or a desire for deeper self-understanding. Our approach to therapy is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to where you are right now.

At You Can Do It, PLLC, we provide individual therapy and couples therapy that is grounded in clinical expertise and shaped by your goals. Sessions are designed to offer support, insight, and practical tools, while moving at a pace that feels sustainable and aligned with your needs.

We work with individuals and couples seeking therapy that is thoughtful, supportive, and rooted in real-life application — not judgment or one-size-fits-all solutions.
